Well, yes, Jesus is certainly born on this day! 🙂 It’s Christmas, everyone! 😀 Can you imagine what it was like at that moment…the moment that Christ was born? The angels were singing, Mary and Joseph were probably thrilled….and so was the entire world! After all, Jesus is our Savior. 😉
I hope you all have a wonderful day, spending time with your families, opening presents, going to church, and of course…eating! 😀 I know I will. 😉 (Yes….this post, as you can probably tell, is scheduled. 🙂 )
Merry, Merry Christmas to all of you! 😀 I’ll see you all soon! And…HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS! 😀
I heard this song in the store a few weeks ago, and as I was listening to the words, it really made me think. It seems that people go out of their way to be nice to people only during the Christmas season, and then once that’s over–bam!–everyone just starts being rude to their co-workers again, the homeless and hungry get ignored, etc. What this song is saying is: don’t just be nice to people at Christmas, show them love all year long!
That’s what I’m going to try to do…I hope you all will do the same! 🙂
It’s CHRISTMAS EVE, PEOPLE! Woohoo! 😀 In just 24 short hours (since this post is scheduled and is going up at midnight Christmas Eve), the big day will be here! 😀 😀
I thought this was a cool little medley…combining two songs that don’t normally go together. 😉 The only reason why I don’t like Carol of the Bells is because the singers usually go too fast and you can’t understand what they’re singing. 🙂 Well, you don’t have to worry about that here because the only “voices” in this version are the ones of the beautiful instruments! 🙂
Thanks to Christian Homeschooler for suggesting songs from this album! 🙂
It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas at my house! 🙂 Well…I guess you could say it’s been looking like Christmas for a couple weeks now….but still! 😉 Every night when my family plugs in our Christmas tree, I just look at the gorgeous lights and get so excited for all the fun stuff that’ll be happening later this week!! 😀
Only THREE MORE DAYS! 😀
We’re going with a classic today! 🙂 Nat King Cole’s take on this song is probably, in my opinion, one of the best versions out there. And, as Nat King Cole states in the song….whether you’re one or ninety-two, you’re never too young or too old to be wished a “Merry Christmas”! 🙂
This is pretty much the way I feel right now…I just can’t wait for Christmas to get here! 😀 Only five more days!!!
Isn’t this song so cute? 🙂 I love the lyrics. Rebecca St. James sounds so much younger in this song….which makes sense because it’s from the 90s. 😉
You’ve gotta love Casting Crowns (one of the best Christian groups out there these days!). Their version of this song is just wonderful. 🙂 I’m sure you’ll think so too!
Hello, hello!! I’ve missed you all so much! I’m sorry I haven’t done the 25 Songs of Christmas since MONDAY(!), but I have a good reason for not doing it, I promise. My family was extremely busy this past week with Christmas preparations and events (last night was my cousin’s Christmas show, another night we went to visit friends, etc.). Also, I’ve been having some Internet problems this week. 😉 But don’t worry…I’m here now!
I was wondering what I was going to do to make up for the three days (not counting today) that I’ve missed…and then I got a great idea. 🙂 Below are three different versions of Angels We Have Heard On High…and I’d like you to listen to the songs and pick the version that you like the best! 😀
Here’s a version by ZOEgirl:
Then for KING & COUNTRY:
And finally, Josh Groban and Brian McKnight:
Let me know which one you like best in the comments! 😀 (Just for the record, I’d have to pick ZOEgirl’s version as my favorite. Although I love them all, I listen to ZOEgirl’s take on it even when it’s not Christmas! 🙂 )
Today’s song choice will be up in one second! See you soon! 😉
Does anyone else have this attitude when it comes to Christmas? 😉 Personally, I like to start seeing Christmas decorations and listening to Christmas music a week or two before Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the official start of the holiday season, and seeing all the Christmas stuff gets me excited for both of those awesome holidays! 🙂
Special thanks to Megan for suggesting this song! 😀
