Who is your favorite singer or group?

My favorite singer…hmm. My favorite female singer is either Rebecca St. James or Francesca Battistelli, and my favorite male singer is Matthew West.
As for my favorite group, that would be Avalon. 🙂 But I also really like For King & Country and many others!

If your favorite male actor was in the room with you right now, what would your reaction be?

Well, on the inside I would be going crazy, but on the outside I’d try to act normal and start up a conversation with him.

Is there a famous person who you used to love, but you’ve suddenly changed your mind?

I don’t know if this counts, but a few years ago I was a really big fan of Britt Nicole. I still really like her now, just not as much as I did before. 🙂

Name a famous person you like whose name starts with v.

Vanna White. Yes, I love Wheel of Fortune-we watch it all the time but I’m not that good at it. XD

What is one of your favorite red carpet dresses?

I don’t know because I don’t keep up with that kind of stuff. 😉

Who is your favorite royal person?

I don’t really have one, but I guess I’ll go with Princess Kate. (She’s American, right? Or am I just making that up? XD )

Who is your favorite child actor/actress?

Probably Melissa Gilbert (Laura) from Little House on the Prairie. Or all the kids from The Waltons.

Is there an actor/actress that you actually like all the private lives of?

Joel Smallbone. 😛 Oh, and (of course) Rebecca St. James.

Do you think that the actors/actresses have improved over the last 100 years?

What is the weirdest famous people name?

Shia LaBeouf. I mean, honestly, I’ve never heard of anyone else with either of those names!

Do you think that you look like a famous person? Which one?

Moriah Peters!

Share your famous person quote.

Home is the nicest word there is.-Melissa Gilbert/Laura Ingalls, or No worries, mate!-Rebecca St. James

31-Day Blogging Challenge: Day 4

Hey guys!!

Today I’ll be talking about 10 songs I love right now. 🙂 I had a hard time narrowing my choices down to just 10, but I think I’ve got a pretty good batch right here. So here they are, in no particular order. 😉

1. Plumb-Exhale

I love this song so much! 😀 It’s actually pretty new, but I’m kind of obsessed with it. 🙂

2. Rebecca St. James-God

I only discovered this song the other day, but I really, REALLY like it! And it’s from 1996 (wow!), but surprisingly, it doesn’t sound too dated in my opinion. 😉

3. Avalon-The Glory

I love this song SO. MUCH. There’s just something about the harmonies, the vocals, the words, the music, and just the way that everything blends together that just grabs my heart. This is such an amazing song, too, about Christ’s Passion.

4. Brian Free and Assurance-You Must Have Met Him

I love this song, because the bouncy, upbeat nature of it just makes me feel really happy. 🙂  It’s definitely my favorite BFA tune. This song is also one I’m really loving right now, because it was recommended to me by my good friend Christian Homeschooler. 😀

5. for KING & COUNTRY-Fine Fine Life

I did a post about this song once before, but in case you missed that (it was a while ago), here it is again for you. 😉 This is one of my all time favorite songs, because it’s just so positive, and the message is something we all really need to remember. Even if things don’t go the way we want them to in life, it’s still a good life (or a “fine fine” one, LOL)!

6. Jason Castro-Only A Mountain

The lyrics to this song are so inspiring and positive. Plus the music video is really cool, too! Although, I will say that I think Jason Castro could use a haircut…. 😉

7. Rebecca St. James-Quiet You With My Love

The lyrics to this song are so sweet! 🙂 Especially the lines, “Lay your head down on my shoulders/Be still, my child/Rest a while/And I’ll quiet you with My love“.

8. Jump5-Welcome

Jump5 takes on their own version of this song from the Disney movie Brother Bear, and I have to say, I like their version a lot better than the one that was in the movie. 🙂 It’s very upbeat and great to dance to! I also love Jump5’s harmonies in this song…they’re spectacular!

9. Moriah Peters-Brave

My very favorite song by Moriah Peters. 🙂 It always really helps me to feel brave in situations when I’m really scared. 😉

10. ZOEgirl-Ordinary Day

A terrific song by ZOEgirl that reminds us how a seemingly normal day can be turned into an extraordinary day when God comes into the picture!!

Well guys, I hope you enjoyed reading about 10 songs that I love right now! Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post…all about pet peeves… 😉

5 Christian Artists You Need To Know

Hey guys! Today I’m going to tell you about five wonderful Christian artists who you really need to listen to! 😀 I personally really enjoy all of these people’s music, and I’m sure by the end of this post you will too!! So…let’s get started!

5. Brian Free and Assurance
My good friend Christian Homeschooler told me about this group not long ago, and I really became interested in their music! Brian Free and Assurance is a Southern Gospel quartet, and let me tell you, they are amazing. They have great voices and can all harmonize really well. So far, my favorite song by them is definitely You Must Have Met Him. It’s very upbeat, and I absolutely love it. 🙂

4. Plumb
Today, Plumb is the stage name of a woman named Tiffany Arbuckle Lee, but what you may not know is that Plumb actually started out as a Christian band in the 90’s, which Lee was actually a part of. (I didn’t know this till recently either, so don’t feel bad!) I’ve only heard one song by Plumb (the band), God-Shaped Hole (which I love!). Several of Plumb (the singer)’s songs are kind of…depressing-sounding but have great messages in them, such as Need You Now (How Many Times), which I wrote about before in this post. On the other hand, though, some of Plumb’s songs are really upbeat, such as One Drop.

3. Moriah Peters
Moriah Peters could seriously be my twin, or if not, then a relative of mine. Basically, look at a picture of her and that’s pretty much what I look like, except for a few differences. 😉 She isn’t too well-known yet, but she still manages to have some terrific songs, particularly Brave (which you can listen to in this post) and You Carry Me. Also, did you know that her husband is Joel from for KING & COUNTRY? I think that is so cool!

2. ZOEgirl
ZOEgirl was one of the first Christian bands that I got into, all the way back in 2011. It consists of three young women that have amazingly talented voices. They disbanded a while ago, but their songs are still fantastic! I have several favorites, but one of them is definitely Feel Alright (which was also the first ZOEgirl song I listened to!!). It’s very upbeat and positive, which a lot of their songs are. If you’re looking for some good songs to dance to, I’d highly recommend giving ZOEgirl a listen. 😉

1. (Peter Furler) Newsboys
Right now, the lead singer of the Newsboys is an American man named Michael Tait. He’s the one that sang lead on God’s Not Dead, We Believe, etc. But before Michael Tait stepped in (before 2010), an Australian by the name of Peter Furler was the lead singer of the Newsboys. He sang lead for songs like He Reigns, Shine, and Breakfast. For some reason, most of the songs by the Newsboys that my sister and I prefer are the Peter Furler ones. Nothing against Michael Tait, he has a great voice, but most of the time we just prefer Peter Furler around here. So if you’re new to the Newsboys (haha, get it?), I’d recommend trying some of their older songs, which Peter Furler sings. Trust me, it’ll sound like a completely different band.

I really hope you guys enjoyed this list! 🙂

Here are some YouTube links to a few of the songs I recommended above:

Newsboys-He Reigns
Brian Free and Assurance-You Must Have Met Him
Plumb-One Drop
Plumb (band)-God Shaped Hole
Moriah Peters-You Carry Me
ZOEgirl-Feel Alright

Alright, this week, I’ve become totally obsessed with a great song by the Christian singer Moriah Peters. It’s called “Brave”, and it is SO addictive! It also teaches a great, great lesson that all of us should remember. When we’re scared, God helps us to overcome our fears and to be brave! 🙂

Here’s the song for your personal enjoyment. See you all later!
